Embodied Movement Arts Therapy
I am a somatic movement therapist and expressive arts educator. I am passionate about facilitating experiences that support, nurture, and enrich lives through movement and creative expression.
My approach is strength-based, meaning I view clients as resourceful and resilient in the face of adversity, and I acknowledge their competencies and ability to grow and thrive as they work through challenges. I come from a place of curiosity and non-judgment, and I recognize the courage it takes to share your experience and be seen in your vulnerability.
I specialize in helping my clients befriend their body as an ally in managing symptoms of trauma, anxiety, and depression, as well as building resources for self-regulation, resiliency, and vitality. I use mindful movement and expressive arts practices centered on body awareness and internal sensations to help clients listen to their body and discover in it a source of wisdom, insight, and healing.
I am providing online individual, group sessions and special events for adults and teens. My authentic and gentle approach draws upon a combination of modalities to best support each clients’ unique needs.
